This project was my primary focus while working for NKDSGN the summer of 2019. The goal was to renovate residential space over retail to provide quality affordable housing unit in the South Parsons Improvement corridor. This was the first of a multi-phase project on the property.
The design of the apartment was a collaboration between the architect and myself. I also assisted managing the site while performing demolition, logistics, and framing. I oversaw two fellow interns and served as point of contact for contractors.
